Frostburg - Joseph Welsh, 57, a former resident, died Friday at his home in Shaker Heights, a suburb of Cleveland. Mr. Welsh had resided in the Cleveland area the past 25 years. He made frequent visits to Allegany County. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nina Welsh; two sons, Joseph Jr., and Marine Pfc. Charles Welsh; his mother, Mrs. Anna Welsh, Frostburg; a brother, Robert Welsh; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Dooley, Cumberland. Rites were held this morning in St. Dominick's Church, Shaker Heights. The Cumberland Evening Times, May 31, 1955.
He was buried on 31 May 1955 in Ohio.
