- Shirley Anne DURST and Francis Jerome LAVIN were married on 18 Feb 1956 in Cherry Grove Church of the Brethren,. Miss Shirley Anne Durst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn G. Durst, Star Route, Frostburg, became, the bride of Francis Jerome Lavin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aden Lavin, Mt. Savage, February 18 in an afternoon ceremony in the Cherry Grove Church of the Brethren. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre. Miss June Green presented a program of nuptial music and the traditional wedding marches, and accompanied George Bittner, vocalist who sang. "I Love You Truly" and "The Lord's Prayer."
