FROSTBURG — John Michael Layman, 18, of Finzel, died yesterday at Rosewood Hospital, Owing Mills, where he had been a patient seven years. He was a son of Blaine and Mary L. (McKenzie) Layman, Finzel, who survive. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Also surviving are two brothers, Anthony Layman, Gilmore, and Bernard Layman, Ferndale; four sisters, Mrs. Angela Llewellyn, Huffman; Mrs. Theresa Winner, here; Mrs. Margaret Stewart, Cumberland, and Mrs. Virginia DeWitt, Fairfax, Va. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. tomorrow. Services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a. m. in the funeral home. Father Maynard Appledorn will officiate and interment will be in Finzel Cemetery.
