Louise McKenzie, 85, of Masontown, Pa., and formerly of Finzel, Md., passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, in Coville Personal Care Home, Masontown, Pa. She was born Aug. 25, 1918, in Austria, a daughter of the late Stanislaus Repa and Bertha Kensek Repa. Louise was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Midland, Md., a retired cafeteria worker from Celanese Corporation, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 1273, and American Legion Auxiliary Farrady Post in Frostburg, Md. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Karl L. McKenzie; six sisters; and five brothers. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Robert T. Kish Funeral Home Inc., Legion Street, Republic, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday until 9:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m., in the Church of the Madonna, Cardale, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. Stephen Bugay as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Avilton, Md. Cumberland Times-News, August 24, 2004 She was buried in St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery, Avilton, Garrett Co., Maryland.
