- Eleanor Sarah MCKENZIE and Haywood Shaw were married. Haywood Shaw (son of Lewis Shaw) was born on 9 Apr 1925 in Tennessee. He died on 19 Jan 1985 in Elyria, Loraine Co., Ohio. Haywood Shaw, 59, an Elyria resident for the past 40 years, died Saturday in a train-truck accident on Cooper Foster Park Road in Lorain Saturday night. Mr. Shaw was born in Model, Tenn., and was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific. He was a 30-year employee of Ridge Tool Company, Elyria, and a member of the Elyria Moose Lodge. He is survived by a son, John H. of Melbourne Beach, Fla.; a daugnter, Mrs. Joseph (Linda) Hill of Cleveland; two grandchildren; and his father, Lewis Shaw of Clarksville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor S., in 1983. Friends may call at the Dicken Funeral Home, Elyria, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The body will be taken to Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, Pa., for visitation Thursday and services Friday.
