Bolden, 80, of Finzel, went to be with the Lord and loving wife on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at the Braddock Hospital. Born April 1, 1928, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Ann (Drees) Bolden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn (Boyer) Bolden on Feb. 28, 2003; one sister, Eleanor Werner; and one brother, Robert Bolden. Mr. Bolden was retired from the extrusion department of the Celanese Fibers Corporation. He currently worked as a bartender at Cindy's Tavern in Finzel. He was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas, and past member of the Eastern Garrett County Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are four sons, Donald and wife Barbara, Gallipolis, Ohio, David and wife Debbie, Finzel, Dean and wife Laura, Finzel, and Doug and wife Linda, Warfordsburg, Pa.; one daughter, Denise Eckhart and husband John, Clarysville; three sisters, Pauline Arnone and husband Jim, Frostburg, Wilda Dunn and husband Sonny, Finzel, and Sylva Baer, Finzel; 10 grandchildren, Donna, Chris, Rhiannon, Bob, Angie, Brady, Samantha, Hannah, Ben and Jonna; six great-grandchildren, Kodie, Arianna and Carson Patrick; Landan and Brayden Bolden; and Santanna Puller; and his many special friends and acquaintances at Cindy's Tavern. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday at 10 a.m. with Father Albert Anselmi as celebrant. Interment will be in the Finzel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Oliver's grandsons and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mary's Catholic Church, P.O.
