- Delbert Edison MCKENZIE and Carrie Jones were married in Jun 1920 in Allegany Co., Maryland. Carrie Jones (daughter of Matthew Jones and Mary HETRICK) was born on 8 May 1902 in Pennsylvania. She died in Oct 1975 in Muskingum Co., Ohio. Mrs. Carrie Mae Gobel, 73, formerly of East pike (Route 8), a retired employe of the old Mosaic Tile Company, died at 5:05 p.m. Friday in Muskingum County Hospital. She had been in failing health the past year. She was born May 8, 1902, in Salisbury, PA, and had resided in this area since 1923. Her first husband, Delbert McKenzie, died in 1944, and her second husband, Herbert Gobel, in 1969. Mrs. Gobel was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Ethel) Basehart of Adamsville Route 5, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Bolin Funeral Home on Blue avenue 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday.
