- Ada Agnes Brown (Lucinda MCKENZIE-3, Ambrose G.-2, John M.-1) was born about 1881 in Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland. She died on 16 Jun 1948 in Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland. Mrs. Ida (Brown) McKenzie, 67, wife of Alban McKenzie, died yesterday afternoon at her home on Finzel Road. A lifelong resident of Finzel, she belonged to St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg. Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Thomas McKenzie, Finzel Road; five sisters, Mrs. William Caton, Rockwood, Pa.; Mrs. Sarah Caton, Baltimore; Mrs. James Conway and Mrs. Charles Haas, both of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Charles Clark, Frostburg; one brother, Albert Brown, Somerset, Pa., and five grandchildren. A requiem mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a. m. in St. Michael's Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, June 17, 1948
