McKenzie, 70, Finzel, Md., died Thursday, Jan. 25, 1990, at Frostburg Community Hospital Extended Care Unit, Md. Born July 24, 1919, in Finzel, Md., he was the son of the late Clarence and Luella A. (Steinla) McKenzie. He was a retired employee of Winner Brothers Coal Company and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas. Surviving are his widow, Mary (Caton) McKenzie; one brother, Carlton J. McKenzie, Springs, one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Winner, Frostburg, Md.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, Md. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Frostburg by Msgr. John L. Reinsfelder. Interment, Finzel Cemetery. The Republic, Meyersdale, February 1, 1990.
He was buried in Finzel Cemetery, Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland.
