  Notes	John Edward “Skeets” McKenzie, 68, of Winchester Road, formerly of Eckhart, died Thursday in Sacred Heart Hospital. Born in Mount Savage Feb. 16, 1919, he was the son of the late Edward and Catherine (Lotz) McKenzie. Twice married, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Leone (Edwards) McKenzie, in 1975. A Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Farrady Post 24, American Legion, Mr. McKenzie was the former manager of Frostburg’s A&P Market and a retired employee of Purolator, Inc. Surviving are his widow, Ruth (Martin) McKenzie; two sons, John Richard McKenzie, Bowling Green, and Francis Edward McKenzie, Bel Air, Cumberland; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Price, Buffalo Mills, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Rosetta Johnson, Sarasota, Fla.; Mrs. Thelma Green, Mount Savage, and Mrs. Lillian Lancaster, Cumberland; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg. Services will be conducted there Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. Interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery.
