He died on 29 Mar 1960 in Akron, Summit Co., Ohio. Thomas W. Ravenscroft, 77, a native of Frostburg, died this morning at his home in Akron. He was a son of the late Thomas and Maria (Murphy) Ravenscroft. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rose (McKenzie) Ravenscroft; Mrs. Edith Starkey, a daughter, at home; a brother, Merlon L. Ravenscroft, RD 2, Frostburg; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Wiland, Frostburg, and Mrs. Vincent Minnick, Akron; a granddaughter and a great-grandchild. The body is at the Hummel Funeral Home, Exchange Street, Akron. Services will be conducted on Thursday at 9:30 a. m. in St. Francis Xavier Church. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery there.
