- Frostburg - Mrs. Ida Winner, 84, died yesterday at her residence, 68 Mechanic Street, after a lingering illness. A daughter of the late William P. and Fannie (Barnard) Hansel, she held membership in First Methodist Church, the W.S.C.S., VanDyke Bible Class, Royal Neighbors of America and the Daughters of Liberty. Surviving are two children, Harry Winner and Mrs. Corey McKenzie, Frostburg; seven stepchildren, Mrs. Clara Youngerman, Miss Agnes Winner and Henry Winner, Rockville; Mrs. L. M. Holland of Oklahoma; Joseph Winner, of California; Mrs. William Lucas and Frank Winner, Frostburg; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Meese, Moscow; (sic, only one sister listed) a brother, David C. Hansel, Frostburg; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. The body is at the home. Rites will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in First Methodist Church by Rev. John Bayley Jones, pastor. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
