- Martha E. (Mattie) MCKENZIE (Leo W.-2, Isadore J.-1) was born in Oct 1897 in Lonaconing, Allegany Co., Maryland. She died on 11 May 1967 in Gilmore, Allegany Co., Maryland. GILMORE — Mrs. Martha Beeman, 69, died yesterday at home. A native of Lonaconing, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Eleanor (Coleman) McKenzie. Surviving are her husband, Charles Beeman; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Shroyer, Cresaptown, and Mrs. Martha Kerr, Silver Spring; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Shoemaker, Washington, and Mrs. Mary Westlen, Brentwood, Md.; three brothers, Robert McKenzie, here; Joseph McKenzie, Brentwood, and Bernard McKenzie, Ohio, and four grandchildren. The body is in the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 9 p.m., tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Requiem mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Midland, Monday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
