He died on 15 Nov 2004 in Frederick, Frederick Co., Maryland. FREDERICK — Mr. David Elwood Arnold, 47, of 9308 Liberty Court, Frederick, died Monday, Nov. 15 at his home, after an extended illness. He was born Oct. 17, 1957, in Allegany County, the son of Glenn Elwood and Carolyn McKenzie Arnold of Frostburg. He was the husband of Brenda Lee Youngerman Arnold, his wife of 27 years. Mr. Arnold was a 1975 graduate of Beall High School, Frostburg. He was employed with Acker and Sons, Inc., Kensington, as a plumbing estimator for 27 years. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Libertytown. He loved Raiders football and NASCAR, his favorite drivers being Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents, are daughter, Trista Marie; and son, David “Buddy” Arnold, both at home; brothers, Doug Arnold and wife Debbie, Don Arnold and wife Terri, Dean Arnold and wife Stacy, all of Frostburg, Dwain Arnold and wife Tracey of Fairplay; father and mother-in-law, John H. and Leota Youngerman of Cumberland; two nieces; three nephews; and special aunts and uncles. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Sappington Hall. The Rev. John Dietzenbach, his Pastor, will be celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date in Frostburg. The family will receive friends at the Hartzler Funeral Home, 11802 Liberty Road, Libertytown, Friday, Nov. 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a Christian Wake service will be held at 8:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a Scholarship Fund, c/o Wilbert Clark, 5241 Buffalo Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771.
