- FROSTBURG - Dorothy M. Chaney, 74, of 71 High Street, died Thursday, May 23, 1991 at Frostburg Community Hospital. Born Oct. 19, 1916 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Philip Blocher and Linnie (Porter) Blocher Fazenbaker. Her stepfather was the late William Fazenbaker. Mrs. Chaney was a retired employee of the Allegany County Board of Education, having worked in the cafeteria at Beall High School. She was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Donald F. Chaney; and one brother, Philip Blocher, Fair Play, S.C. Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sowers Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Frostburg Memorial Park by the Rev. Richard K. McCullough. Cumberland Times-News, Friday, May 24, 1991
