Cumberland Evening Times, Sep 15 1926."FUNERAL OF PHILIP BLOCHER - Funeral services for Philip Blocher, who was instantly killed at Sunnyside mine Monday morning, were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from Grace Methodist Episcopal Church South Frostburg, in which city Mr. Blocher lived. Rev. F.L. Baker, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Allegany cemetery, Frostburg. Mr. Blocher is survived by his wife and two children. Porter (daughter of Moses Porter and Fannie Rutherford) was born about 1895 in Tennessee. She died on 11 May 1972 in Allegany Co., Maryland. MRS. WILLIAM FAZENBAKER, FROSTBURG - Mrs. Linnie E. Fazenbaker, 77, of 145 Frost Aveenue, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks. Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Moses and Fannie (Rutherford) Porter. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fazenbaker. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. Surviving are a son, Philip Blocher, Freeport, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Chaney, Frostburg; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Crowe, Florida, and a brother, Daniel Porter, Frostburg. The body is at the Hafer-Sowers Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. THE CUMBERLAND NEWS 12 May 1972 Philip BLOCHER and Linnie E.
