- Mrs. Elizabeth McKenzie, 85, of McMullen Highway, Cresaptown, died Thursday at the Allegany County Nursing Home. Born in Cresaptown, she was a daughter of the late Charles Franklin McBee and Marian Rebecca (Rice) McBee. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of Cresaptown United Methodist Church. Her husband, Emory Melvin McKenzie, died in 1960. Surviving are two sons, James Melvin McKenzie and Dwight Franklin McKenzie, both of Cresaptown; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hershberger, Winchester Road; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the George-Upchurch Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at the funeral home Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
