- MEYERSDALE — Charles Bolden, 83, a retired carpenter, died yesterday at his home, 106 Broadway. A native of Frostburg, he had resided here many years. His parents were the late Charles L. and Columbia (Degatera) Bolden. Surviving are his widow, the former Henrietta McKenzie; two children, Mrs. Howard Finzel, RD 3, Meyersdale, and William A. Bolden, Frostburg; a brother, John Bolden, and one sister, Mrs. Alice Finzel, also of Frostburg; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. A requiem mass will be celebrated tomorrov at 9 a. m. in SS. Philip and James Catholic Church by Rev. Father Cupples. Interment will be in Finzel (Md.) Cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, April 5, 1955.
