Berkeley Springs - Mrs. Carrie McKenzie, 87, widow of H. Edward McKenzie, died early this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Esther Bennett, 415 North Washington street, here, following an illness of three years. Born in Morgan County, October 2, 1872, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Harden) Cain. Her husband died in 1923. She is survived, besides Mrs. Bennett, by another sister, Mrs. O. B. McCoy, of here, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Grand International Auxiliary of Brotherhood of Railroad Locomotive Engineers and Royal Neighbors of America. She also belonged to the First EUB Church. The body is at the Parks Funeral Home where services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Paul Slonaker, of the Winchester EUB Church.
