  Notes	Charles J. McKinzie, 80, a well known gunsmith who operated a gun shop at 2646 Fourth avenue, Moline, the last twenty years, died at 9:50 last night in his home. He suffered a stroke last Tuesday. Mr. McKinzie came here from LaSalle thirty years ago. While in LaSalle Mr. McKinzie was employed as a repairman in the car barns of the old C.O.&P. interurban railway company and later worked for the Illinois Valley railway. He was employed by both as a motorman when those electric lines were in their heyday. He was born July 1,1866, in Bunker Hill, Ill. He married Elizabeth Wright Feb 24, 1892, in Gainesville Ark. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are the widow; five sons, Milton McKinzie of Andalusia, Charles McKinzie of Anna, Robert McKinzie of Chicago and Fred and Frank McKinzie of Moline; two daughters, Mrs Lester Larson of Moline and Mrs. Walter Shuda of Monrovia, Cal. Sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon in Esterdahl Chapel. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel this evening. (according to Dorothy Quayle- Jake's granddaughter &Charles' daughter) Jake and son Charles had a serious falling out in 1932. It seems that Jake, a fiercely loyal Democrat and Charles Earl , a Republican, had a bitter disagreement over Franklin Delano Roosevelt. It was so bitter that they never spoke again.
