- CUMBERLAND — Helen Marie Weimer, 75, of 11907 Knob Road, N.E., Cumberland, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 1995, at her home. She had been ill for several months. Bom June 14, 1920, in Finzel, she was the daughter of the late James N. McKenzie and the late Oma Alice (Caton) McKenzie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester H. Weimer; and a son, James Asa Weimer. Mrs. Weimer was a former employee of G & G Drapery Co. and Shamon’s Sewing Co. She was a member of the Livingstone Church of the Brethren; a member of Women’s Work and the Quilters of the Church; and a volunteer with the Davis Memorial Apple Butter Group. Surviving are three daughters, Geraldine J. Kelley and husband Allen E., Jr., Aurora, Colo., Patricia A Graham and husband Dur-ward, Jr., Cumberland, and Janet Leasure and husband Claude, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, William Weimer and wife Linda, Bridgeport, W.Va., and Gerald G. Weimer and wife Elsie, Cumberland; a sister, Edna Raley, Bel Air, Md., two brothers, George William McKenzie, Finzel, and Jack H. McKenzie, Baltimore; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home. Services will be held at the Livingstone Church of the Brethren on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Timothy Monn officiating.
