- Emma Luceal Patton (daughter of John Patton and Armenta COLFLESH) was born about 1906 in Grantsville, Garrett Co., Maryland. She died on 20 Jan 1974 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. Mrs. Emma Luceal McKenzie, 68, of Red Hill, National Highway, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital after an illness of six months. A native of Grantsville, she was a daughter of the late John and Armenta (Colflesh) Patton. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Oren S. McKenzie; a son, Oren F. McKenzie, Panama City, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. William F. Beaver, Camp Springs, Md.; Mrs. Ralph O. Bowman, BelAir; and Mrs. John E. Theriac, Chula Vista, Calif.; two brothers, Curtis Patton, Friendsville, and Robert Patton, Fort Hill, Pa.; and seven grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A Christian wake service will be conducted tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Cumberland Evening Times, January 21, 1974.
