- Cresaptown – Leroy Melvin Lotz, 54, Trade Winds Trailer Court, died Feb. 1 at Memorial Hospital. Born in Mount Savage, he was the son of the late Henry and Grace (McKenzie) Lotz. A former pipefitter for the U.S. Navy Shipyard, Seattle, Wash., he was an Army veteran of the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Stars. He was a member of Frostburg LOOM Lodge 348.
Surviving are two sons, Douglas Lotz and Dennis Lodge, and three daughters, Mrs. Debra Westfall, Denise Lotz and Diane Lotz, all of Seattle; six brothers, George Lotz, Fairmont, W.Va.; Edgar Lotz, Finzel; John Lotz, Ochopee, Fla.; Howard Lotz, Canaan, Conn.; Harold Lotz, Hyndman, Pa.; and James Lotz, Mineral Wells, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Twigg, Oldtown and Mrs. Grace Lepley, Mount Savage, and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Cumberland Evening Times, February 2, 1988.

I have no idea who Dennis Lodge Lotz is. It is true that the surviving sons would be Douglas & Dean. It has to be a typo.
