HAGERSTOWN - Alice Marie "Connie" (Conway) Cooley, 73, of Hagerstown died Friday, Nov. 29, 1991, at her residence. Born May IO, 1918, at Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (McKenzie) Conway. She was a retired licensed practical nurse of the Washington County Hospital and a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Hagerstown. Surviving are her husband, William Cooley; four children, Mrs. George (Carol) Walter of Cumberland; William J. Cooley, at home; Mrs. John (Marcia) McColeman of Chester, Va. and Richard Cooley of Hagerstown; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson, and sister Mrs. Rita "Betty" Rice of Havre de Grace, Md. The family will receive friends in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, Fairchance, Pa. A prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in SS. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, Fairchance, with Rev. Anthony A. Wozniak as Celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa. Cumberland Times-News, Monday, December 2, 1991
