- Joel DICKEY was born on 14 Mar 1890. He died on 4 Dec 1973 in Meyersdale, Summit Township, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania. MEYERSDALE - Joel W. Dickey, 83, of here, died yesterday in the Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born March 14, 1890, he was a son of the late Edward and Clara (Welch) Dickey. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Genevieve (Lancaster) Dickey; three sons, Joseph Dickey and James Dickey, both of here, and Ralph Dickey, Somerset; four daughters. Mrs. Alma Donahue and Mrs. Marion Nicklin, both of Camden, N. J.; Mrs. Besse Evans, Annandale, Va., and Mrs. Helen Scott, Frostburg; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The body is at the Konhaus Funeral Home here, where a Christian wake will be conducted today at 8:30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the SS Philip and James Catholic Church.
