He died on 30 Sep 1962 in Hagerstown, Washington Co., Maryland. MT. Savage — Edgar F. Lancaster, 65, of Calla Hill, who was an employe of the Mt.-Savage Refractories, died yesterday morning in Western Maryland Hospital, Hagerstown, where he had been admitted on September 21. He had been in failing health for about four months. A native of Mt. Savage, he was a son of the late George and Susan (McKenzie) Lancaster. Besides his widow, Mrs. Edith (Moran) Lancaster, he is survived by a son, Thomas Lancaster, Cumberland, and two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Folk and Mrs. Rosemary Mathews, both of Cumberland; six brothers, James, Gilbert, Raymond and William Lancaster, all of Mt. Savage, John and Gerald Lancaster, both of LaVale; four sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Dickey, Meyersdaie, Pa., Miss Hilda Lancaster, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Mary Crites, LaVale; Mrs. Margaret Wagner, Bowling Green, and seven grandchildren. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mt. Savage and the Holy Name Society of the parish. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home in Frostburg, where friends wrll be received from 7 to 9 p. m. today and from 2 to| 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m. tomorrow. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9 a. m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church by Rev. Michael Smyth, pastor. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
