Born May 5, 1913 in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Caroline (Meerbach) McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Oester; two sons, Edgar and Donald; two daughters, Ada House and infant, Mary Ellen; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Oster was a homemaker and a member of Salisbury Church of the Brethren. Surviving are two sons, David of Meyersdale, and Charles, of Springs, Pa.; four daughters, Bonnie Minick, Clara Christner and Lois Rugg, all of Meyersdale, and Linda House, Grantsville; one brother, Wilbur McKenzie, Meyersdale; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery.
