    • John Joseph MCKENZIE and Judith LINTHICUM were married on 28 Jun 1975 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. St. Patrick's Catholic Church was the setting for the June 28 wedding of Miss Judith Ann Linthicum and John Joseph McKenzie. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Rigis F. Larkin. Miss Patricia Campbell was soloist for the ceremony, accompanied by Mark Steiner, organist. William Long of Cumberland was lector. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Linthicum of Cumberland; Mr. McKenzie is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin McKenzie of Finzel. Mrs. Linda Norris of Cumberland, the bride's sister, was matron of honor. Best man was John McKenzie of Frostburg. Ushers were Richard D. Linthicum, brother of the bride, and Keith McKenzie, brother of the bride groom. A graduate of Allegany High School and Sacred Heart Hospital School of Practical Nursing, the bride is employed as a unit secretary at Sacred Heart Hospital.       One man was killed and another injured yesterday following a two-car, head-on collision on Big Savage Mountain. John Joseph McKenzie, 33, of RD 2, Frostburg, died shortly after being taken to Sacred Heart Hospital. Injured, and being held overnight for observation was Reginald Eugene Harris, 29, Glen Burnie. State Police said the accident occurred about 1:45 p. m. on U.S. Route 40 at the top of Big Savage Mountain. Police said Harris, who was driving west, failed to keep to the right of the centerline and struck the McKenzie vehicle which was going east. Eastern Garrett Fire Company along with Frostburg and Northern Garrett rescue squads went to the scene of the accident. The mishap was investigated by Trooper Ron George. Born in Meyersdale, Mr. McKenzie was a son of Austin J. (Tip) and Betty (Werner) McKenzie. He was employed by Kaiser Refractories and was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 1273, Frostburg, and a former member of the Maryland National Guard. Surviving in addition to his parents are his widow. Judith (Linthicum) McKenzie, two daughters, Julie and Jina McKenzie, at home; two brothers, Keith McKenzie and Kenneth Rosenberger, both of Finzel.
