Durst, 65, of Star Route, Grantsville, died yesterday shortly after being admitted to Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born at New Germany, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Dora (McKenzie) Durst. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ at New Germany. Mr. Durst's first wife, Edna P. (Wilhelm) Durst, preceded him in death. Surviving are his widow, Emma G. (Beachy) Durst; a son, Tech Sgt. Homer A. Durst, Highland, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Verda Barren, New Breighton, and Mrs. Dorothy Hockenberry, Gladesville, W. Va.; two brothers, Raymond C., of here, and Everett Durst, Frostburg; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Britt, Frostburg, and Mrs. Laura Wilhelm, Lonaconing; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home.
