Notes	Lonaconing, Sept. 28 — A requiem mass was held this morning in St. Anne's Catholic church, Avilton, for Mrs. Mary Agnes (McKenzie) Garlitz, 55, wife of William Garlitz, who died suddenly of a heart attack at her home here Monday afternoon. She had been in failing health for some time. Interment was in Avilton Cemetery. Besides her husband, Mrs. Garlitz is survived by twelve children: Roy and Julius Garlitz, Avilton; Harry and Herbert Garlitz, Butler, Pa.; Patrick Garlitz, Lonaconing; Mrs. Samuel Tipton, Butler; Mrs. Russell Durst, Baltimore; Beulah, Fredia, Shirley, Ira and Albert Garlitz, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Warren, Grantsville; Mrs. Grant Dibler and Mrs. John Drees, Finzel; two brothers, Joseph McKenzie, Washington, D. C., and Thomas McKenzie, of Avilton, and five grandchildren. The Cumberland Evening Times, September 28, 1944.
