- Lafe Leonard McKenzie, 71, of 1738 Old Frostburg Road, Frostburg, Maryland, died Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at his residence. Born August 10, 1933 in Garrett County, Maryland, he was the son of the late Thomas and Nellie (Garlitz) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was a laborer and US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the DAV and the Salisbury American Legion and was Catholic by faith. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home Saturday from 9-10 a.m. Services will be held at the funeral home with the Rev. Doug Kenney officiating. Interment will be in Blocher Cemetery.
