  Notes	FROSTBURG — David Lawrence McKenzie, 79, of Frostburg, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, surrounded by his loving family at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born July 6, 1935, at his home place on Old Frostburg Rd., Frostburg, he was the son of the late Thomas and Nellie (Garlitz) McKenzie. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Rhyan Dane McKenzie; and four brothers, Ralph, Joseph, Lafe and Roger McKenzie. David was a timber cutter, heavy equipment operator and retired from Teamsters Local 453. He enjoyed farming, his cows, working in his garage, tinkering with tractors and most of all being with his family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris Louise McKenzie, having just celebrating their 60th anniversary on Feb. 2, 2015; two daughters, Bonnie Klotz and husband, Doug, Barbara Fratz and husband, William; one son, Rodney McKenzie and fiancée, Brenda Oester; two brothers, Regis (Bonnie) McKenzie and Olin (Judy) McKenzie; four sisters, Thelma Iser, Martha Faidley, Helen (Blaine) Resh, Ora (Ray) Keister; three sisters-in-law, Carleen McKenzie, June McKenzie, Brenda McKenzie; 10 grandchildren, Rebecca Klotz Wright, Timothy Klotz, Angela Klotz Savage, Sara Fratz Mahler, Kathy Fratz Williams, Lori Fratz Kyle, Rodney McKenzie Jr., Alyson McKenzie Bennett, Wesley McKenzie, Bradley McKenzie; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous grandchildren’s spouses; nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dan Agnew officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House in memory of Rhyan, Eastern Garrett Fire Department or Frostburg Area Ambulance Association.
