Notes	FROSTBURG — William “Alvie” McKenzie Sr., 64, of 201 McCulloh Street, Frostburg, died Thursday, June 30, 1994 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born on Feb. 23, 1930 in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Edward J. McKenzie and Maty (Freal) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Frostburg Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his wife, Grace (Felker) McKenzie; one son, William A. McKenzie Jr., Frostburg; two daughters, Carol A. McKenzie, Baltimore; Teresa M. Meadows, Charlottesville, Va.; one brother, Robert E. McKenzie, Frostburg; one sister, Jane Filer, Carlos, and two grandchildren, Dana Joanne McKenzie and Dylan James McKenzie. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. T. William Preston officiating. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. The Farrady Post 24 American Legion will accord military honors at the graveside.
