- Frank MCKENZIE was born about 1870 in Garrett Co., Maryland. He died on 14 Mar 1948 in Orange, Texas. Mrs. Milton Younkin received word last week of the death of her brother, Frank McKenzie, a native of Garrett County, who died at his home at Orange, Tex., Sunday, Mar. 14. A shipyard carpenter, Mr. McKenzie had resided in Texas 50 years. He visited here about 13 years ago for the last time. He was the son of the late John and Sara McKenzie. Interment took place at Orange. Surviving are four sisters - Mrs. Milton Younkin, Grantsville; Mrs. Ruth Carey, Orange; Mrs. Allen Baker, Frostburg, and Mrs. Bruce Robinson, Hancock; and by four brothers - John McKenzie, Tyrone, Pa.; Joseph McKenzie, Cumberland; Jacob McKenzie, Frostburg; and James McKenzie, Mt. Zion. Meyersdale Republican, March 25, 1948.
