Born near Grantsville, Mr. McKenzie was a son of the late Jacob H. and Lucy A. (McKenzie) McKenzie. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and had retired after 25 years of service as a night watchman with the Hazelwood Construction Co. Mr. McKenzie was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow. Ida R. (Petenbrink) McKenzie; one daughter, Miss Catherine K. McKenzie, at home; three sons, Robert W. Brode, LaVale; Jack E. Brode with the Air Force in Florida, and David W. Brode, this city; one brother, James Frankhouser, Keyser; one sister, Mrs. Lela Krause, Grantsville, and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Kight Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers will be recited tomorrow at 9 a.m. in Ihe funeral home by the Rev. Regis Larkin.
