Jacob H. McKenzie, 84, of Grantsville, died Nov. 6, 1972, in Western Maryland State Hospital in Hagerstown. Born in Garrett County, Md., he was a son of the late John and Sarah E. (Christner) McKenzie. His wife the former Lucy McKenzie, preceded him in death. Surviving are two sons, James H. Frankhauser, Keyser, W. Va.; and Cecil B. McKenzie, Cumberland; a daughter, Mrs. Uleleh Krause, Grantsville; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Lela Robinson, Eckhart, Md. Funeral service was conducted Wednesday afternoon in Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Paul Lovejoy officiating. Interment in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery. GRANTSVILLE — Jacob H. McKenzie, 84, of here, died yesterday at the Western Maryland State Hospital in Hagerstown. Born in Garrett County, he was a son of the late John and Sarah E. (Christner) McKenzie. His wife, Lucy (McKenzie) McKenzie, preceded him in death. He is survived by two sons, James H. Frankhauser, Keyser, and Cecil B. McKenzie, Cumberland; a daughter, Mrs. Uleleh Krause, Grantsville; a sister, Mrs. Lela Robinson, Eckhart; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home, here, where friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home by Rev . Paul Lovejoy. Interment will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery. The Cumberland News, November 7, 1972.
