JAMES CECIL ROBBINS
James Cecil Robbins of 523 Mayfair Avenue, died July 21 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Funeral service was held July 24 in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home with Elder Alfred Beer officiating. Burial was at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tom Beer, Bill Welch, Ken Christianson, Tony Stinseth, Mac Christianson and Dave
Carson. Mr. Robbins was born July 3, 1902 at Bon Accord, Alberta and lived in the Chilliwack area for 15 years, and was formerly of Vancouver. He was a concession stand operator for CNIB, a member of the CNIB. He won the CNIB fishing derby for many years in Vancouver. He was a lay minister in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Robbins is survived by his wife, Agnes; two daughters, Bernice (Mrs. E.) Jickles of Tatamagouche,
Nova Scotia and Rosemary (Mrs. B.) Troyer of Penticton; three sons, Cecil of Hemet, California, Eugene of
Kelowna, and Fred of Chilliwack; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother; and four sisters.
