Born January 6, 1934, in Tarrs, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andre and Marie (Kovalsky) Petro. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. McKenzie, January 4, 2005; six brothers, John, Andy, Steve, Joseph, Nick and Mike Petro and three sisters, Mary Koza, Helen Steiner Grimm and Marjorie Ciacco. Mrs. McKenzie was a homemaker. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Cemetery.
