He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, Betty (Cutter) Raley; three sons, Albert L. Raley Jr., Cumberland, Md.; Donald Raley, Frostburg, Md.; and Mark Raley, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Betty McKenzie, Oldtown, Md.; and Ann Raley, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Fate, Salisbury; Mrs. Verna McKenzie and Mrs. Evelyn McKenzie, both of Frostburg RD 2 Md.; and Mrs. Dorothy Arnold, Finzel, Md.; one brother, Gordon Raley, Finzel, Md. and 10 grandchildren.
