ECKHART — Della C. Connor, 84, of Eckhart, died Wednesday, April 6, 1994 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born on Nov. 28, 1909 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late John McKenzie and Mary (Minnick) McKenzie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Griffith T. Connor in 1958. Mrs. Connor was a homemaker. Surviving are one daughter, Ruth Hensel, Corriganville; three sons, Gary Connor, Eckhart; Donald Connor, Frostburg; Bernard Connor, Cumberland; two sisters, Claire Cain, Akron, Ohio; Evelyn Shriver, Frostburg; three half-brothers, William McKenzie, Frostburg; Richard McKenzie and Eugene McKenzie, both of Finzel; three half-sisters, Hilda Giles, Thelma Raley and Mildred Minnick, all of Frostburg; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Thursday. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William Miller officiating. Interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hensel, Timmy Hensel, Ricky Hensel, Jason Hensel, Marty Connor and Mike Ryan.
