- Clarence McKenzie, Sr. – Clarence M. McKenzie, Sr., 83, Frostburg, died July 27 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Catherine Pape, Finzel Road, with whom he resided. Born in Garrett County, he was a son of the late Richard and Dora (McKenzie) McKenzie. His wife, Mrs. Martha (Caton) McKenzie died in 1967. Mr. McKenzie was a retired employee of the Buchanan Lumber Company, Cumberland. In addition to his daughter, he is also survived by one son, Clarence M. McKenzie, Jr., Finzel Road; one brother, Corbett, and two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Cutter and Mrs. Rella McKenzie, all of Beall School Road; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received in the Durst Funeral Home, where a service was conducted Saturday afternoon with Rev. Terry R. Herron officiating. Interment followed in Johnson Cemetery, Garrett County.
