OAKLAND — Mrs. Blanche Elizabeth Miller, 80, of 3 North Second Street, died Thursday at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 4, 1904 in Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late Oscar McKenzie and Bessie Ann (McKenzie) McKenzie. Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Peter Miller; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Evans, Oakland; Mrs. Louise Baker, Ocala, Fla.; three brothers, Cobey McKenzie, Salisbury, Pa.; Martin McKenzie, Oakland; Jonas McKenzie, Terra Alta, W.Va.; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Bridges, Mount Savage; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Durst Funeral Home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Father Paul Byrnes. Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lorraine Bittinger, Michael Bittinger, Robert McKenzie and Robert Garlitz.
