- FROSTBURG — Albert Wayne McKenzie, 56, of 100 Honeysuckle Lane, Frostburg, died Friday, Sept. 23, 1994 at Frostburg Hospital. Born on April 11, 1938 in Finzel, he was the son of the late Murrell C. and Edna (McKenzie) McKenzie Sr. Mr. McKenzie was a trucker and owned and operated his own truck. He was a member of the Frostburg Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are his wife, Donna (Bittinger) McKenzie; five sons, Bernard E. McKenzie, Meyersdale, Pa.; Gary W. McKenzie, Lonaconing; Albert McKenzie Jr., Cumberland; Kenneth R. McKenzie, Frostburg; Murrell D. McKenzie, Frostburg; three daughters, Donna D. Buxton, Green Lantern Road; Rita L. Wright, Zihlman; Beth A. Magruder, Zihlman; seven brothers, Paul McKenzie, Orlando, Fla.; Darrell McKenzie, Mt. Vernon, Ohio; Carl McKenzie, Mount Savage; John McKenzie, Cumberland; Delbert McKenzie, Eckhart; Murrell McKenzie Jr., Frostburg; David McKenzie, LaVale; four sisters, Virginia Shriver, Frostburg; Eileen Miller, Grantsville; Donna Cutter and Janet Stairs, both of Meyersdale; 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Richard Hall officiating.
