  Notes	FROSTBURG — Rose Marie McAlpine, 80, of Frostburg Heights, died Friday, June 5, 2020, at her residence. Born on March 23, 1940, in Midland, she was the daughter of the late Henry L. Spiker and Blanche G. (McKenzie) Spiker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward K. McAlpine, on Feb. 15, 1999; and her siblings, Henry S. Spiker, Joseph R. Spiker and wife, Doris, and Eileen Oester and husband, Edgar 'Dick'. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Rose Marie was a member of Divine Mercy Parish/St. Joseph Catholic Church, Midland, where she was part of the sodality. She was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Lonaconing and Midland, where she was born and raised. She made many friends while living in Frostburg Heights. She is survived by her children, three daughters, Lee Ann McAlpine and Dave Folk of Shaft, Gail L. Kenner and husband, Ed, of Midland, and Mary L. Pinder and husband, Will, of Cresaptown; son, John E. McAlpine and Kelly Taylor, of Bedford, Pa. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Melanie Ullery and husband, Nathaniel, Chelsea Bosley and husband, Rick, Justin Kenner and husband, Chris Archambault, Carson Kenner, and Blake Pinder; great-grandchildren, Karra and Raiden Ullery; and a large extended family. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, June 9, 2020, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wilhelm- Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., 19814 Big Lane, Midland. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at 1 p.m. with Fr. Ed Hendricks officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland. Cumberland Times-News, June 8, 2020
