- Eileen Cecilia Oester , 77, of Salisbury, died Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Golden Living Center, Meyersdale. Born June 14, 1938, in Lonaconing, MD, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Blanche (McKenzie) Spiker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Allen "Dick" Oester; one daughter, Patricia Beitzel; and two brothers, Henry "Pecks" Spiker and Joseph Spiker. Surviving are four sons, Joseph Oester , Garrett; Christopher Oester , Meyersdale; Charles Oester , St. Augustine, Florida, Ronald Oester , Salisbury; one sister, Rose Marie McAlpine, Lonaconing; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. Friends will be received Tuesday, February 16, 2016, from 12 to 2 p.m., at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m., with Pastor Tommy Holliday officiating.
