FROSTBURG — Rella V. McKenzie, 90, formerly of Beall School Road, Frostburg, died Wednesday, July 12, 1995, at the Maust Personal Care Home, Accident. Born Jan. 25, 1905, in Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late Richard McKenzie and Dora (McKenzie) McKenzie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo L. McKenzie, on May 8, 1989; and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. McKenzie was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Surviving are one son, Bernard A. McKenzie and wife Dorothy; one sister, Mabel Cutter, and one brother, James C. McKenzie, all of Beall School Road; one granddaughter, Brenda L. Rafferty, one great-grandson, Matthew A. Rafferty, both of Frostburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Thursday. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Lawrence K. Frazier officiating. Interment will be in the McKenzie Cemetery, Garrett County.
