FROSTBURG — A requiem Mass was celebrated yesterday morning in St. Michael's Catholic Church for Noah McKenzie, 82, retired Garrett County farmer, who died Saturday at the home of his son, Norman McKenzie, near Johnson. Interment was in the family cemetery in Garrett County. Pallbearers were Roy Winebrenner, Orville and Edward Minnick, and Byard, Orville and Ralph McKenzie. The Cumberland Evening Times, June 2, 1948
FROSTBURG - Noah Sylvester McKenzie, 82, Garrett county, a retired farmer, died early today at the home of his son, Norman McKenzie, near Johnsons, after being in ill health two years. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are his widow, the former Inez Minnick, and eight children, Mrs. Henry Spiker, Midand; Mrs. Morris Garlitz, Avilton, and Mrs. Francis Garlitz, Mrs. Randolph Rush and Norman, Clinton, Stanley, Cobey and Leo McKenzie, Garrett county. He was a brother of Peter McKenzie, Garrett county, and Mrs. Nancy Robison, Frostburg.
