  Notes	William Lawrence McKenzie Sr., 70, of 216 Maryland Avenue, was dead on arrival Saturday at Memorial Hospital. Born in Avilton June 21, 1917, he was the son of the late Andrew George and Maude Mae (Croft) McKenzie. Twice married, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Retha Mae (Louk) McKenzie, in 1952. A retired watchman for Queen City Brewing Company, he was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Henry Hart Post 1411, VFW, and Fort Cumberland Post 13, American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Violet M. (Smith) McKenzie; one son, William L. McKenzie Jr., Cresaptown; one daughter, Mrs. Regina M. Rifleman, Maple Heights, Ohio; one step son, Harry L . Louk, Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Bernard McKenzie, Potomac Park ; three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Green, Lonaconing; Mrs. Pauline Ross, Frostburg; and Mrs. Nora Crowe, Avilton; and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
