McKenzie, Ambrose, born Oct. 17, 1832, baptized Nov. 16, 1832, at Saint Patrick Church, Cumberland, Maryland, on Feb. 8,1864, in Ross Co. married Nancy Agnes Haines, born Sept. 22, 1848. He later went west to North Dakota and then on to Washington. Nancy died July 21, 1883, in Shackelford, Missouri, and Ambrose on March,1916, in Colfax, Washington. They were the parents of seven children: Martha Maloney, Francis W.,
John, Nora Erlandson, Charles, Benjamin and Mary Musselman. Ambrose and Nancy raise a foster child, Nancy Shoemaker.
