CUMBERLAND — Rita Virginia Keplinger, 86, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at her home. Born July 18, 1927, in Cumberland, Mrs. Keplinger was the daughter of the late Reid Hoenicka and Bernadette V. (McKenzie) Hoenicka. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell L. Keplinger, May 10, 1989; five sisters, and three brothers. A homemaker, Rita is survived by her daughter, Mary C. Paugh and husband, Bill; her granddaughters, Margaret M. Willison and husband, Doug, and Melanie A. Rice; her great-grandchildren, Ryan Willison, Brandon Willison, and Sierra Sewall; and a sister, Bernadette V. Leidinger. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
